I actually work for Clear Channel- I engineer Jim Rome's radio show. None of my bosses have mentioned or suggested that I exclude any of my bumper music, although I have elected for the time being to avoid "End of the World" by Charlatans UK. I'm sure I will work it back into regular rotation in the coming weeks. IDM content- My favorite song in the world right now is "The Gamma Consequence" by Halo Vessel on a compilation called American Breakbeat: Electronic Music from USA and Canada on Klangkrieg in Berlin (www.klangkrieg-produktionen.de). Wonderful song. Think Proem with about 700% the crunchiness/distortion. Anybody have more info on this artist? And don't let the title fool you- there's nothing breakbeat about it. 2 cds- Kit Clayton, Solenoid, Phthalocyanine, Lexaunculpt, Blitter, Slicker, Hrvatski, Datach'i, Cex, Rook Valade, Kid 606, Lesser (who I'm losing all sorts of respect for after initially being impressed by Welcome to the American Experience- seems like everything he's done since then has sounded like demo tracks of him jerking around in his studio), Electric Birds, Matmos, Lowfish, Buug, much more. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
